Anxiety sufferers perceive dangers as if they were real and think that the worst will happen. To deal with anxiety, the most common is to escape from threatening situations, but this ends up causing it to persist and even get worse.

An example is the person who needs to be tested. Postponing going to the doctor puts the focus on anxiety and not on solving the problem. Thus, both are maintained.

Anxiety is also due to a difficulty in tolerating the uncertainty of the future. To relieve it, the person tries to control everything around him. However, the future is unpredictable and trying to control it would be the same as trying to control time.

In this case, it would be best to focus on the present, trusting that you have the resources and capabilities to face the future and, if necessary, prepare for it.
